The Apache features custom cameras that allow you to see from the nose or the chain gun. The Huey also includes moving rotor components that simulate real-world collective pitch inputs All cockpits include moving flight controls. Custom bench-like seats for the Huey and Chinook to make them seem less cramped (they can be used in any aircraft though). Multiple colors and textures for each aircraft (except the Huey and Chinook, which currently only come in green). Unique audio for the helicopter engines and weapons. #Minecraft huey helicopter full
They will slowly drain their fuel into the vehicle's fuel tank if the vehicle's tank isn't full Each one can hold 10 blocks/buckets of fuel (lava or fuel from another mod), so 2 external tanks will double your flight time! The fuel gauge currently won't show fuel in these tanks, but you can see how full they are by looking at them.
External fuel tanks that can be attached to each wing of the AH-64 (in place of one of the weapons). Instruments for ammo indication, Primary Flight Display (PFD) that comes default in the AH-64, EC-145, and CH-47 (but can be added to other aircraft as well), and an Engine & Fuel Display. It can be equipped on the wings or Huey gun mount, and fires at a very high rate of fire! The M134 minigun can rotate up/down but not left/right. They will try to seek a mob, vehicle, or block if you're looking at one when you fire, and they produce a big explosion. The hellfire missile racks can be placed on each wing like the rocket pods. Alternatively, you will be able to place high-fidelity rocket launchers from the DKZ Industries Automotive Branch pack (created by LauraDarkez2001) when they're released! Currently, you can place two on each wing of the Apache, or 2 on the Huey gun mount. The hydra rocket pods fire straight ahead. The M230 chain gun will point where you are looking (don't forget to account for gravity and airspeed when aiming!). Do not shoot at anything you don't intend to destroy (especially with explosive rounds!) Beware: these weapons can damage blocks as well as mobs/players. Four weapons to attach to the Apache or Huey (equipped with gun mount) with different types of ammunition. Working aircraft lights and instrument panels. Each aircraft has a specific engine and main rotor you must use (see the spoiler above for aircraft-engine pairings). Engines and main rotors to go with each aircraft. The helicopters listed in the spoilers above. Craft with a lever, stick, and book in any order. #Minecraft huey helicopter how to
An in-game handbook item for instructions on how to use this pack.Read the changelog before updating to a new version of this pack, or you may lose vehicles or parts when switching over. I'm also considering starting a small Hero Aviation Minecraft server, so let me know in the comments if that's something you'd be interested in.
What does this mean? Possible future packs under the Hero Aviation brand (or its subsidiary, Hero Automotive), continuing our work on helicopters, and I'm looking for motivated modellers and developers interested in joining the team! Head on over to the Discord if you're interested. Due to the success of the pack so far, I'm looking to expand. We are now "Hero Aviation", a company dedicated to aeronautical innovation and excellence. Both function the same, but the aft rotor faces and turns in the opposite direction for realism. Note: There are 2 different rotors included.
Seats and cargo: 2 pilot seats, 16 ! passenger seats or crates, and 3 gunner seats (1 on each side and 1 at the back ramp) Wheels or skids: uses 6x CH-47 wheels (provided with pack) Perfect for when you want to move everything you own to a new base!Įngine: Lycoming T-55 (to place the engine, look through the back ramp and you should see the engine placement hitbox coming out of the ceiling) This version seats 2 pilots, 2 side-facing door gunners, 1 ramp gunner (can only be placed when the ramp is open), and 16 passengers or cargo crates. The downsides are that it requires a large landing area and burns a lot of fuel (but don't worry-it also has a massive fuel tank!). Easily recognizable due to its tandem (front and back) rotors that give it massive lifting power and enable it to carry loads where few other helicopters can. A heavy-duty military and civilian helicopter.
